Optimiztion of microstruture in optistruct

I am using optistruct to design mechanical microstructure.
The boundary condition is implemented using MPC. To implement MPC, I created nodes apart from the structure itself. FEA result for a compression problem looks fine.
Now I am in trouble with topology optimization. The problem is that: no matter how I change parameters (including optimization algorithm, discreteness option, check board control option) in optimization control entry, the density change is not in accordance with topology sensitivity change. Topology sensitivity result is good, but density distribution is not. In detail, density distributed very evenly in the range of volume fraction constrain. For example, if I set volume fraction (0.4,0.5), the density for optimized structure with maximized stiffness is 100% in the range of (0.47999,0.520001).
Could anyone give possible solution for my problems?
