Rigid wall

Hello,

I have problem with rigid wall. I created two rigid walls. one is fixed and other is moving. I placed a cylinder between them. My aim is to crash the cylinder between these two plates. I gave slave nodes of cylinder for moving rwall. but problem is moving rwall is penetrating into cylinder. what was wrong?

Is the normal of rwall in the direction of motion?

Hi,

Please check the rigid wall normals and ensure the direction is towards the slave component. And also, ensure that slave nodes has been added in the rigid wall card.

Hi,

You can try with the Measures panel in HyperView. Select relative displacement and create curves for the same.
