Work Function in EDEM

Dear all

I practice using EDEM with some tutorial. ( ver 2020.3.1 )

In the tutorial "Printer Simulation", I have to key in Work Function in bulk material panel.

But I can't find the field of work function.

    Yes, my license is Altair Unit, I guess it is not the special license what you mean

    Ah, You have Altair license.

    You can find the Options.

     

    1.Open the EDEM

    2.Go to 'Options'

    3. Section Options --> uncheck the 'Hide Electrostatics'

    4. Click to OK

     

    You can see the Work Function in Bulk Material.

    Why is the unit of my function function ev, not J, and my version 2022.2

    Hi, if you go to Tools > Options > Units you can change the units from ev to J or the other way round.
