Hi,

My name is Ranganayagi Venkatmohan. I am doing my Master course and this is related to my Master Thesis topic. I wanted to find a way how to find stiffness and damping coefficient for a lattice structure in Hyperworks. I have the results obtained through experiments and i wanted to compare these results in simulation.

I already did a modal analysis in which i have obtained the natural frequencies.

Please help me out

Thanks in advance

you could use OptiStruct Size (parametric) optimization to adjust your material parameters to get closer to your desired frequencies.

You can use System Identification to tune your Design Variables (Size >> material properties) to achieve closer to your frequencies.

You can take a look at a few tutorials on Size optimization and combine it with DSYSID (system identification)
