Hello,

I am trying to simulate a 220kVA 320/400 Dyn11 power transformer in flux using symmetries because like that I would be able to make a better mesh and also reduce the simulation time. For that I have a full model of the same transformer in flux with the correct results.

I have cutted the model in four parts and deleted three of themo to apply simmetry in two planes. I dont have any error so I can make the simulation but the results are totally incorrect. I would like to know how is the proper way to do it because I think Im missing something. I will attach the model here if anyone want to have a look at it.

Thank you,

    Hello Inigo,

you defined a tangent magnetic field symmetry on the ZX plane, you need to change it to Normal magnetic field.

    Best regards
