Finding Torque Vs Angular Velocity in an eddy current brake system

Dear support,

The system includes a spining aluminum disk and two permanent magnts over it from its sides.
After solving the model, it looks like no magnetic torque was aplied on the disk.
We would like to ask for your help in finding the way for defining the simulation correctly and find a relation between the disk angular velocity and the magnetic torque.
I suspect that the mechanical set in the project is not properly defined and causing problems.

thank you for your help

    Hello Ravina

We have already seen together this issue. It comes from the fact that the sliding cylinder is in contact with the Alumium part, so one has to make an air or vacum cylindrical box arround the mobile part. The second point is linked to the mesh.
