Section cuts Hyperview

Hello,

I am doing a CFD simulation in hypermesh and hyperview.

When I get the results in hyperview I want to obtain the average pressure and velocity in certain sections. Imagine the pipe is 100 mm long, so I want the measures at 0mm, 20mm, 40mm, 60mm, 80mm and 100mm. It that possible? I'm trying it with different options or tutorials but I can't get the exact results.

Hi,

you can plot the contours at these section cuts, just by creating them.

But as far as I know, the average of these value can't be obtained directly. At least in AcuSolve, i believe you need to create a surface in your model, and then request the averaged results. Maybe I'm wrong.

I have created the different surfaces in hypermesh but when I launch the job, then, I cannot see the surfaces in HyperView and I cannot select the surfaces in AcuConsole (AcuOut) in order to obtain the results of different velocities and pressures What should I do?

I also tried to obtain values from different section cuts in Hyperview but the legend has always the same values, it doesn't addapt to the maximum and minimum of the section. Can I correct this?
