Feko: What is the difference between "source power" and "active power"?

Hi

In the definition of Gain (see user guide .../user_guide/output_file/farfields_receving_ant_feko_r.htm#gain-and-directivity) the term "source power" is used.

The feko output file uses "active power" and also "source power", which seem to have the same numerical value.

Is there a difference?

Best regards, Peter

    Hi @Peter Hahne ,

I know the term "source power" actually only in connection with a defined power in CADFEKO. Could you attach an example .out file?

    Best regards,
    Torben

    Hi Torben

thank you for your quick response. Here a snippet:

But I think I got it now: The "total active power" is the -> sum <- of all individual "source power"s going into to the system.

For a system with a single source "total active power"="source power"

    Right?

    Best regards, Peter
