Hello everyone,

I am an undergraduate/graduate teacher at a Brazilian university, and I would like to teach a class where students can simulate and analyze 5G coverage in an urban scenario, as well as conduct a 5G network analysis.

Could anyone assist with a configuration file to use in the simulation (for the 3.5 GHz and 26 GHz frequency bands), as well as provide radiation patterns for an antenna in both frequency ranges?

Best regards.

    Hi Glaucio,

You can use the Air Interfaces/Wireless Standards *.wst files that are available in Example A7 in your installation directory. Here is an example path:

    C:\Program Files\Altair\2024\help\winprop\examples\ExampleGuide_models\Example-A07-Air_Interfaces_aka_Wireless_Standards.zip

You will find in this folder a large number of files that you can load when creating a Network Project in Proman. Each file is for a different wireless standard. You can choose the n78 file for the 3.5 GHz band. You also have the n257 for the 28GHz band. The n258, for the 26GHz band is not available. You can create it yourself if you wish to.

I do not have shareable patterns unfortunately.

    Best Regards,

    Zeina
