why does my contact pressure during interference step is not matching with my calculated (theoretical)value?

    Can you provide more information about your request and someone on this forum can assist you?

    Which solver are you using to model interference fit- OptiStruct?  How are you calculating the theoretical value?

    Hi Robert,

    yes i am simulating interference fit using Opti struct.

    i have calculated the theoretical value using the below sheet.

    `but i am getting a value of around 85.3mpa.
