PBS postgres pbs_datastore service is not starting even after restart. Postmaster.pid file is corrupted.

My PBS_version = 14.1.0

Could not delete using rm -f postmaster.pid command.

The file does not go away after restart.

Both images are given to describe the problem.

 

qstat or any other pbs_command not working giving err_no=111.

Previously prostgres pbs_datastore used to start but not starting. Tried restarting PBS but not starting.

Error message is /PBSHOME/datastore/postmaster.pid gives input output error.

I tried to remove this file rm -f postmaster.pid. But it also gives input/output error. The file shows all attributes as question. Cant remove it as root.
