How can I import geometry from Solidworks 2023 into Hypermesh?
I'm trying to import a CAD file from Solidworks 2023 into Hypermesh 2022.3. I've read that Hypermesh doesn't support Solidworks files from versions later than 2021 but I've been able to import STEP files before. When I try to do it this time the geometry doesn't show up. Is there a way I can do this?

Hello,
As you can see below with 2022.3 HyperMesh version we support SoldiWorks 2022.
Do you have error message? Or just nothing happens?

Hi Marine,
It seems like the program acknowledges that I'm importing geometry as when I select Import in a new session, in the top right the screen says "Model Info: Untitled" and in the bottom left it briefly says "updating graphics." No geometry shows in the window or Model Browser, however.

Hi, I have the same doubt.
but in my case it is Hyperworks 2022.3 and solidworks is 2023
This error appears when trying to open an assembly that contains 4 parts.
After this error the next error one caused hyperworks to close.
I talked to some Altair support people and Hyperworks 2022.3 should support SolidWorks 2023 too.
I would like to import this without having to convert to IGS or STEP to facilitate modifications to the model as I carry out the simulations.
I don't know what I can do.
any questions please let me know.
