Question: Generating Cyclic Load-Drift Curves
I'm new to HyperGraph. I would appreciate if anyone could help me to generate cyclic loading graph for steel connections.
Analysis is AISC static cyclic loading and I need to know how I need to adjust the output to be able to see the graphes in HyperGraph (and also importing the data to HyperGraph). Until now I was just sending output '.dat' file using ABAQUS step manager of HyperMesh, extract them (which was a pain in the neck) and plot them in Excel but now I have to do this time-consuming process for hundreds of times and it deasn't make sence putting that much time on extracting them manually.
I use HyperWorks 12.0 with ABAQUS as solver.

HyperView can read the Abaqus ODB results for plotting, so if you write out the force data (RF, CF, etc) you can generate HyperGraph curves of the responses. You can create an MVW session file or TPL template file once you have generated the plots you need, then re-use them for each design iteration.

Could you explain the process more please?
I managed to see the results for all steps in HV, I created 'Derived load case' which is combination of all the steps that I have. I can see the derived load case in HV but I can't figure out how to see it in HG. Because when I read the ODB file in HG, each step considered to be ONE subcase so I can't plot the whole process of cyclic loading in one graph right away and I have to add each step/subcase one by one to make the complete hysteresis loop (and obviously each step will be plotted in different color and line style). So I thought maybe I can combine the steps by the method that I explained but it didn't work!I'm totally lost in the post-processing using HyperView and HyperGraph!!!
And also is it possible to make the plot in HV window the way that you can see stress countor AND the hysteresis graph at the same time?
