Internal Programming error in Optistruct

Hi,

 

I am get the below error while simulating in Optistruct, This is the first time I am getting this error and I am not able to figure it out, Kindly give me a solution. I tried all the iterations regarding this issue from altair forum , I am using 2017 version, cleared all the temporary files, element count =1166221, Hexa elements, Using NLSTAT with material and contact non linearity and pretension loading.

    clear all previous files in work folder (close hyperview if it is opened).

    check penetration.

    Hi,

    • Tried changing the working folder, No hyperview session is opened.
    • No Penetration in the model. 
    • I need to know whether it is a modeling error or memory error. (Waiting for your reply)

    have you tried to solve part of model? Has it gone?

    maybe it's so large for your computer?

    Yes the element count is more,  so you summarize to be the memory issue? if it is so, is there any solution to make it run?

    Almost 300 GB space is available in my drive.

    try to solve reduced model/part of model.
    it's difficult to search mistake in large model.

    Can you update the solver to the latest available and check if that helps?

     

    Most of the programming errors are solved in updates.

    • The model has hybrid meshing (Hexa, pyramid,tet), does it cause a problem?
