Can somebody share the contact electrification model and the electrostatic interaction model of EDEM 2023 based on the model developed by Pei et al.(C. Pei, C.-Y. Wu, M. Adams, DEM-CFD analysis of contact electrification and electrostatic interactions during fluidization, Powder Technol. 304 (2016) 208–217.)?

My programming skills are too limited to write the appropriate API Models.

Thank you very much.

    Hi Alice

Please check Altair Exchange to see if there are any API models available for your physics.

    Thanks,

I have checked, and there are no models I need, and there are not even similar ones.

    Hi Alice

I am not sure where else to find them in that case. Hoping that someone has created/used that model, and will send it to you.

    Thanks,

    Thank you Jerrin

There is too little content about electrostatic and charge transfer models related to edem, it can be said that there is no content at all. The tribocharging and electrostatics models built in edem are not built according to the usual model principles, and I cannot use them.

    Hi Alice

I wish the in-built models would work for you.
You could maybe ask Altair to write one for you if you don't find what you need, and you don't want to write one yourself.
Either way, all the best for your model/project.

    Thanks,
