I wish to import a geometry (closed sketch) that is in .xlsx format with the x,y and z coordinates entered in it. How can I import this in SimLab so that I see this geometry in its GUI and work further?

Did you try with import / discrete model / Point cloud?
I don't know if SL supports coordinate based closed sketch currently, if not you could need to import it into a cad software and create a "real" geometry before entering simlab

Yes. I finally did it by importing the point cloud. It imports discrete points in space and a face needs to be generated manually.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
