Hi there, when running my simulation using polyhedral particle, an error message occurs stating that the Oka_Wear.cu plugin file does not exist. Currently, i am using Oka_Wear.dll file as my plug-in. My question is, do we need a different type of plug-in model file type for GPU solvers? The .dll file can run when I use the CPU option but for polyhedral particle, I can only run in GPU, there is no option for CPU. I have attached some images help showcase my problem. Can you help me understand what is really going on here as i am new to this EDEM software. If there is a Oka_Wear.cu plug-in file, could you please share it. Thank you.

Hi, the Oka wear model API isn't currently available for polyhedral particles.

EDEM 2021.1 has two GPU solvers, the polyhedral particles uses CUDA and the multi-sphere/sphere particles on GPU uses OpenCL.  The Oka wear model only supports GPU for the OpenCL solver when the geometry isn't deforming.  Currently there isn't' a model available for Polyhedral.

The API model from here - https://community.altair.com/community?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0113594 supports CPU and GPU for non-deforming geometries or CPU only for deforming geometries.
