How to freeze elements?

1. Is there a way to freeze elements in hyperworks? If I am meshing a big part, I would like to freeze areas that are already meshed so that I don't disturb it accidentally

2. There is an option to load the user profile ( Abaqus, LS dyna) in hypermesh with a green icon. Is there a similar option in hyperworks?

Hi Prashanth,

I am not very sure about the possibility of 1st question, maybe you can add anchor nodes while meshing so that the existing mesh will not get disturbed.

For the 2nd question you can select solver interface as below pic.
