Does the FemT tool count the AC winding losses?

Does the FeMT tool count the AC winding losses (skin effect and proximity effect) when doing the efficiency map?

Hi,

The only losses compute in the case of FeMt are:

• Iron losses (stator+ rotor)
• Magnet losses
• Joule losses (DC losses)

For the AC losses, this is not taken into account in the computation.
