Merging into single model - Model with transform card

Hello,

For Radioss, I prepared a model with bunch of includes. And few of those include has a Transformation card. But later realised Radioss won’t support node set in transform card, Instead I need to create a //SUBMODEL to use then with /TRANSFORM card.

To avoid confusion, would like to merge the model and export without transformation details. Where can I find option to merge the model and overwrite the transformation details in Hypermesh.

Thanks & Regarrds,

Naresh Kini

In the options when you export, there is a pulldown for merging or preserving includes: you should be able to  simply toggle to 'merge' and the file will be written as a single model (default is to preserve)

    Hello Paul,

    Thank you!!.

I could merge the data into single file, but still TRANSFORM data still exist. Since I am facing issue in retaining transform in the model, I would like to merge and eliminate the transformation details in my model.

Example: In Primer we get a option to eliminate the transform and parameter details while exporting file.

I think you can delete the transformations in HW before export and it gives you the option of keeping the current position or returning to the untransformed position?

    Hello Paul,

I did tried that option but did not got any such pop up to retain the model in desired position. But will try one more time incase I missed to see any popup message/warning.

    Thanks,

Yes, ok, I was mis-remembering, it is HC has that option. Can you share the model (here or via Altair Support) so we can investigate the root of the problem with the transforms?
