Hi, I am trying to perform topology optimization for 2 design spaces with separating contact surfaces and I get this error, a similar model with one design space runs fine.

Could someone please tell me what it means?

if you open the run folder, there will be some files there, specially the .out file that gives additional details on the errors.

Maybe it is a convergence issue for the contact.

Thank you, there is a surface contact error  *** INFORMATION # 4739
 The structure of surface-to-surface contact element is quite different than
 that of node-to-surface contact element. No internal CGAP/CGAPG elements are
 created for surface-to-surface contact.

And a fatal error
  STATSUB(BUCKLING/PRELOAD/BRAKE) with FAST CONTACT is not supported.

I will try to clean up the geometry.
