Why is mass zero for solid on hyperworks

I am new to altair, and i can't seem to figure out why the mass is zero for the solid on hyperworks. I have added material and property and still the mass is zero. I have attached the document below. Any help is much appreciated

    It is because you have not yet created a mesh, the optistruct material and property are assigned to the elements assigned to the component, and as yet, in your model, there are no elements (so no volume, no mass) the geometry itself has no mass on its own, I created a 4mm volume tetra mesh on your solid, then when you calculate the mass, you can see the mass of the elements (.0514 Tonnes) (51.4 kg)
