Is it possible to follow the position of the center of gravity of a liquid with HyperMesh
Hello everyone,
I am working on the movement of a fuel tank half filled. The fuel tank is pushed by an actuator which implies a movement of the fuel inside. I would like to extract the center of gravity of the fuel during this movement but I do not know how to do it. I did not find output blocks in HyperMesh that were able to extract it.
Does someone know how to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
I understand you are using Radioss as the solver of your model.
Not having much information how you modeled the fluid, you can request as time history output with /TH/PART the center of gravity coordinates of the part.
You can find more details of this card in the documentation.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the help! I will try to use this.
I am using SPH particles for the fuel.
