I have to optimize a composite panel in order to not exceed a certain displacement value. When i create the response " Static Displacement" i have to select some nodes. These are the nodes that have not to exceed the displacement's value?
Correct.
For controlling the displacement, you need to create this 'Static Displacement' response, and select both the nodes where this will be measured/evaluated and the DOF.
Then after creating your response, you need to add to it a design constraint, and limit the displacement to a certain value (it could be a lower or upper bound, or both). Also do not forget to choose the appropriate loadcase(s) to be considered for this constraint.
