Hello

I am going to max the two voltages together and then feed it to the voltage probe so that I can better check those two signals during the simulation.

How to max those two signals together?

    Hi, Reza,

So, your question is how to "mux" not how to "max" two voltages together so that you can better check those two signals during the simulation.

If you have a large and complicated simulation which runs for a long time, and you want to observe data during simulation, in PSIM, please click "Elements >> Other >> Probes". You can find 1-channel, 2-channel, and 4 channel scopes here.

These scopes can be used to display simulation data during simulation.

If you want to display several waveforms in the same screen after the simulation is finished, Simview has many useful functions you can utilize.

    Sincerely,

    Rhonda

    Hi, Reza,

PSIM has an element in the library: "Elements >> Control >> Computational blocks >> "Maximum/Minimum block".

Using this block, you may select the maximum or minimum among 2 to 10 input signals.

You have asked several questions in this forum about whether PSIM has a block for some functions. The easiest and fastest way is to click "Help >> Index" and type the keyword to search.

If you can't find a PSIM block for your function, you should build the function with PSIM's library blocks.

For example, if you can't find a PSIM block for the function of "Max of the two voltages", it is easy to use a comparator and a multiplexer:

    Hello again

    Thank you for your reply

    I will correct my meaning

I want to see two signals simultaneously in the probe

Similar to the first diagram in the answer you sent me.

What should I do for this purpose?

    Hi Reza,

When the simulation finishes, you can plot as many signals (measured by a probe) as you'd like on the same graph. If you initially plot only one signal and later want to add another to the same graph, you can click on the "Add or delete" option:

What is more, if you want to compare results from different simulation runs in the same window, you can use SimView's "Merge" option. Feel free to follow this tutorial for more information:

    Hi, Reza,

Please click in PSIM "Help >> Video Tutorials >> Overview and Getting Started >> Getting started with PSIM".
This short video will show you the basics of how to use PSIM. Starting from 4'45", the video shows the basics of Simview functions. You question is answered here.

For more information about how to utilize Simview functions, please watch the short videos in PSIM's " Help >> Video Tutorials >> Waveform Analysis".

    Sincerely,

    Rhonda

    Thankful

But none of what you said answered my question

In MATLAB software, when we want to observe two signals at the same time during simulation in one scope, we use the MUX block.

Does the psim software have such a feature?
