Hi all, 

Why do many people set up connections between parts in car crash simulation using SPRING2N elements? 

What are the advantages of this type of element?

    Hi Nancy,

    In Radioss we recommend  to use the spring element (Type 13) for modelling the  seam welds, spotwelds, rivets or any connections.

    Also find the sample file for reference to create weld.\
