Error when install hw solver 2018 with hwd 2017.3

Hi there,

just download hw solver 2018 with hw desktop 2017.3 to update my hw solver 2017

during installation, an error message showed up. if you click ignore, another similar message showed up again. as a result, the installation failed.

is there any solution for this ？ I have removed all the Altair 2017 folder and tried. Same error occurred.

Then Google with key 'md5 checksum'

Thanks for explaining. By clicking checksum, a txt file is given. So how do I know if the check is good or bad? I am downloading these files again..

Indeed. Just check all the md5 - they all match with original one. I guess the files are good.. Must be something else!

Yes. I have admin rights and I tried both Win 7 and Win 10. same problem..

Currently I am using Solver 2017 with HWD 2017.3 well.. It seems that I can not put HWD 2017.3 into a 2018 folder.

Yes. I have applied by default settings. Therefore I can skip license setting step when installing.
