Yes, we are aware of the fact that this is happening with Mac OS 10.14 and apologize for the inconvenience. It happens due to some outdated libraries. We are definitely releasing a patch in the coming few weeks.

I am having Evolve now for a while and it is not the first time that you are not ready/not communicating that you are not ready beforehand. I have some 5$ apps that do a better job in communication/update. You can imagine how odd that is right now: No downgrading possible, it means, I am without CAD on that machine. You're not selling a fun program for selfies! I need Evolve for daily living. I checked beforehand if there is any alert from your side but I couldn't find anything. This disappoints me.

The incompatibility with Mojave is very serious, and leaving all users of Evolve in big trouble. I use Evolve for a living and can not wait 'for a patch in the coming weeks'.
It does not work that way, I still have to deliver.
Altair is again proving to be very uncommunicative on behalf of the Evolve community (Evolve 2018?) and this is not a way to compete in the 3d market. There are a lot of competitors out there hungry for market share and communicating much more effectively with the world, even though you don't own a licence of that particular software.
What is really bothering me is the complete silence and ignorance regarding the incompatibility with Mojave and makes me wonder about the future prospects of Evolve.
Time to jump ship.

Evolve on the Mac platform has been down for two weeks, and there are hardly any comments and no communication. Imagine the havoc such an issue would create if it was SolidWorks or AutoDesk. Well it probably wouldn´t happen. The utter silence makes you wonder how big the user base of Evolve is, especially on the Mac platform, it feels lonely indeed. By the way, how will I know when a patch is ready? Do I have to check the website regularly, will I get a mail? The Last newsletter I got was in 2016.
Hi everyone, I'm sorry for the inconvenience but before updating an operating system it would be advisable to check the compatibility of the 'strategic' software installed. Was it mandatory to update MacOS immediately? As you can see in the system requirements page Evolve 2017 is compatible with MacOS from 10.10 to 10.13. Could not you contact technical support before updating? (this is a forum not a technical support page) Just my 2 cents Hello, Claudio

So, far you are the only one to respond.
For your info I updated two days ago.
In my case, it gave Evolve two weeks to sort out incompatibility issues and send info to customers about the problems.
I dont know if you are a company representative, you write like one, but Its 2018 and we (the customers) expect a bit more from a company than getting complaints,
about 'posting on the wrong forum' and upgrading our OS 'without seeking permission' in return for our frustration in not being able to do our work.
Hello Einar, I'm not connected with Altair, i'm only a solidthinking user since 2000... :-) As I wrote, I'm sorry for the inconvenience ...
For experience and for not find ourselves in this situation, for example at work we install the new version of cad that we use at least 6/8 months after the release ... same speech for the operating systems.
I hope Altair will realease a patch as soon as possible.

No release note but i think it's a patch for 10.14.
