I could not see an option for exporting results data in EnSight format

Hi Kiran,
Does the dropdown give you anything, it should allow the EnSight option to be selected:If this isn't shown it maybe to do with any queries already setup. If so I'd recommend either creating a new Configuration with the green + or as an alternative closing EDEM. Re-naming or deleting the simulation_name.dfg and then going to the export again. This will reset all the Analyst settings back to default.

Hello Stephen,
I do not see any other option in drop down menu. I have tried deleting the .Dfg file and re exporting again but still could not see ensight option.
Do I need to export it at beginning of simulation? I have tried it after the simulation has completed.

Hi Kiran,
Ensight export isn't supported for Polyhedral particles, if you have a polyhedral then the export would be disabled.

Hi Stephen,
I did not use any polyhedral particles. I have tried exporting it using sphero cylindrical particles but ensight option was disabled. I could try using multi sphere particles and see if it makes any difference.

Hi Kiran,
That looks to be the issue. Same for Sphero-Cylinders as well as Polyhedrals. The EnSight export is only active for multi-sphere particle types.
