Hypermesh to Acusolve

Hi all,

I am trying to import meshed component from HyperMesh to AcuSolve and i am getting error in AcuConsole window as " pnlTools.pnlToolsError : Unable to Import file "

Below are the steps i have followed

1. Component meshed in Hypermesh

2. Units changed to meters with Basic FEA application

3. user profile changed to AcuSolve

4. Clicked on AcuConsole and Export

and I am only interested of meshing in Hypermesh and BCs & solving only in AcuConsole

can any body know how to solve this import error

Does you mesh in HyperMesh have mixed topology? Tetra4, Penta5, Quad4, Tria3 elements?

AcuConsole does not support mixed topology.

One option would be to be mesh in tetra+tri only.

The better alternative would be to use HyperWorksCFD2021. Then there would be no need to move between HM and AC. There is eLearning material on: https://www.altair.com/resource/hyperworks-cfd-v2021

Thanks for reply, my mesh is having only hex8 and quad4, i am having only AcuConsle2019

Converting to tetra + tri is probably the easiest in that case. If possible upgrade to HWCFD2021 is highly recommended.
