Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported

Dear all,

I'm new to the forum but I have a problem installing the Altair suite. I downloaded the installers (Hyperworks Desktop and Inspire exactly) and placed them in the same folder as the altair licensing software. When I try to install the Altair License Server though, it gives me an error message:

"Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported

Unable to load and to prepare the installer in GUI mode"

I'd like to specify that I used to have the previous version of altair but I uninstalled it some time ago. I really appreciate your help.

Luca

Can you give some more details on your environment? OS, machine, and so on..

The HW installer and the License Server do not need to be in the same folder, ok?

Can you also check if the installers are not corrupted? Can you check the checksum?

also check if no special characters are present in the installation folder.

Ok so the OS is Windows 10 Home, my machine is an Asus Vivobook Pro Laptop, if you need more info ask me. It has 16 Gb of Ram and an Intel i7-7700HQ CPU.

How do I check fo the checksum? I'm not sure how to do that, although I don't think they are corrupted, because it's the fourth time i delete all the files and download everything again.

I have a folder with these installers in, I'll attach a screenshot if that helps

Also, I forgot to mention the laptop has a 4K screen, I don't know if maybe the resolution could be the problem, but the 2019 suite worked fine

To all whom it may concern,

i solved this issue, apparently the Install Anywhere application didn't support my 4K screen, I went into settings and downgraded the resolution to 1080p and it worked. I still don't know why as the 2019 suite had no problems with my 4K screen, but anyway it worked.

    Thanks everyone for your help!
