Hashin Failure Criterion with Optistruct

Hi,

I am implementing Hashin Failure to my composite model (PCOMPP).

I am wondering if there is an option for deleting the elements as index >1 to account the losses of stiffeness?

Thanks,

Jerome.

These failure models for PCOMP/PCOMPP are more on the post-processing side, comparing the linear stresses/strains with their allowables and comparing with the failure models.

There is no deletion of elements yet. Maybe with OptiStruct Explicit some deletion might be possible. I don't know.

But you could get a better representation and even stiffness loss with Radioss, or combining OptiStruct and MultiScale Designer.
