How to push CPUs to limits in Inspire Form 2022.2

Hi everyone,

My workstation is running on a Core i9 10900k with 10 cores and 20 threads. But it only uses 1 or 2 cores (<15% utilization rate) for the solver.

Is there any way to make it use all of it's power?

It's not the matter with simple problem and short solving time. But sometimes, I have to wait for minutes but unable to push it to run faster, so a bit of uncomfortable.

Thank you everyone, hope someone can help!

have you tried to adjust the preferences, specially the try-out options for CPU?

it is in portuguese here, but you should easily find the options there.

    Thank you Adriano A. Koga!

I've followed your instruction, and found out 2 more issues.

    1. The option of number of CPU is only available in Tryout, I can't find it in Feasibility.

    2. In Tryout, firstly I set the number of CPU to be auto, the calculating power utilization rate is about 40-70%, and it takes 52 seconds to solve my example problem. And then, I set the number of CPU to be 20, the utilization now is 100%, but it takes 1m10s to solve the same problem.

I don't know how to explain, but I think the software has some adaptive algorithm or something like that, to solve the problem as fast as possible. So..., I will leave them all auto, untill I find out something new.

Again, thanks so much for your help!
