Why 'Volume Packing' option close EDEM?

Hi, I'm from Chile.

I don't understand why everytime I choose 'Volume Packing' option to a import geometry, the program close inmediatly.

Help me please,

    Hi Jerman,

    I was trying out what you mentioned in your post on EDEM 2021.1. I however, had no issues. Your problem may be due to the geometry itself, it should not be open for example. Are you able to post it for testing? Additionally I would always recommend updating to the latest version (current is EDEM 2022) as if there are any issues on the version they normally get fixed by the next release. Let me know if you try this and it gets fixed.

    Hi Jerman,

    Also to note that Particle size distribution was not supported in EDEM 2021.1. and can cause the simulation to crash. As my colleague Ignacio mentioned always best to work with the latest EDEM release available on the Altair community.
