Hi everyone,

I am the new one with Altair suit products.

I saw a problem when trying to run a problem with Optistruct solver. I did create a file and run succesful in Optistruct, after that I changed the solver from Optistruct to Radioss to run an other problem. When I get back to Optistruct to run again my older file. I saw this error "no template specified". I tried to create a new one file to test and always see this error. Can you please tell me how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much.

    Hi Dinh,

Please share the model and I can take a look.
When importing the model in HM, ensure you do not forget to change the template to OptiStruct again.
    Thank you very much,

    Hi Robinson,

Thank you for repling, I think this is not problem of model because I tried to create a new easy model to test and it doesn't work neither (although it worked very well before I change solver from Optistruct to Radioss). I always choose Optistruct solver when I open HyperMesh. When I tried to export model in solver deck, this error will appear all the time. But every thing will be fine if I change the solver to Radioss.

I encountered the same problem and didn't know the reason, but I managed to solve it.

I deactivated the "Show export options" setting and then activated it again, which somehow resolved the issue.

You can find this setting under:
File - Preferences - HyperMesh - Application - Show export options dialog

If you don't have any other options, it is worth trying this.
