Multiple analysis in single motionview file
Hello,
I would like to perform multiple analysis on a single motionview model.
I would like to check it for three different velocities.
For example,
LC1 - Vel of 3m/s
LC2 - Vel of 6m/s
LC3 - Vel of 10m/s
I would prefer not to use templates by using Deactivate and Activate commands.
Is there a way to model this in motionsolve?
Thanks and Regards,

Hello Sanjay
What kind of model are you trying to solve ? Do you want to change the velocity mid-course of the simulation ? or do you want to run the same event repeatedly, but with different velocities ?
If you can share some more info about the model and the condition you are simulating, one can provide a more relevant suggestion.

Hey Praful,
I want to run the same event but with different velocities.
Simple model description would be, for example,
Its a crank and piston mechanism.
I would like to rotate the crack at different velocities0 -

I would like to rotate the crack at different velocitiesPresuming there is a joint for the crank in the model,
1. you can create an Analysis, passing the crank joint as an attachment to the analysis (refer to https://help.altair.com/hwdesktop/mv/topics/motionview/analysis_background_c.htm#analysis_background_c on concept of Analysis)
2. Create a motion within the Analysis, on the joint that is passed as attachment in step 1, with velocity VC1
3. Copy-paste the analysis within the model, to create multiple instances of the analysis. Change the velocity on the motion with each of the newly created analyses to VC2, VC3 etc.
4. From the run panel, you may select ALL the analyses at once. MotionView will export as many solver decks and execute each run.
If you upgrade to the latest versions 2022.1 or 2022.2, the new MotionView interface lets you to select n number of analysis.
Hope this helps.
