S-Frame 2022 won't start
Dear support,
I'm having trouble with the software "S-Frame 2022". I have tried both exe and msi installers and the results are the same. The installation process looks normal and it completed successfully. However, the software won't start after the installation. I can see the executable files located under the program folder on the Windows x64 bit system. My old version "S-Frame 2021" is still working fine.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,
Thanks for getting in touch. We're happy to help.
One thought is that S-FRAME comes in 3 different editions (Standard, Professional, and Enterprise). If your company is using the Structural Engineer Suite, you will want to install the 'Professional' Edition of S-FRAME. If your company using the Advanced Structural Engineer Suite, you will want to install the 'Enterprise' edition of S-FRAME.
It would be helpful to get more information about your company/licenses. I will create a support ticket for you so that we can get you up and running.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your help! I used the S-Frame License Utility and switched the edition from the default "Enterprise" into the "Professional". The INI file under the software folder is showing the following contents.
q/
[Application Information]
Type=5
Country=0
Product No=10
Edition=2[User Information]
Company=
Name=/q
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks Kevin,
As discussed, it seems your 'Type' setting was defined incorrectly. If you use the 'Type = 1', the software should launch.

Hello Hoan,
Thank you for getting in touch.
The answer will depend on your Altair One License. If you have units of the Structural Engineer (SE) Suite, then you will need to install the 'Professional' edition. If you have units of the Advanced Structural Engineer (ASE) Suite, then you should install the 'Enterprise' edition.
