How can we couple EDEM with MSC ADAMS
Dear forum,
I wish to know, how do we couple EDEM with MSC ADAMS. I was going through a tutorial on (https://www.edemsimulation.com) about it, in which it was said that there are some coupling files known as Adams Co-Simulation Interface (ACSI) files. The tutorial says that these files are located in the learning page. I could not find those files. Can anybody tell, how to get those files. Do these files come as a part of EDEM installer or have to be downloaded from the Altair website.
Regards,

Hi Adil,
I uploaded an EDEM-Adams tutorial which contains the co-sim interface here:

You can find the files in the zip in the above link.

Hmmm. I don't see that on the "Altair" website, but I do see it on the "EDEM" website. The Altair website only has an e-learning for coupling EDEM with MotionSolve (guess they don't like promoting a competitor solution ☺). However, Stephen's post does include the Adams binary and ACSI cosim files for use.
On the "EDEM" website, the "Coupling EDEM with Adams eLearning" doesn't have any zip file I can see (the video transcript states "From your Adams model directory, open the Blank.cosim file that was provided with the EDEM for Adams installer", which I'm not familiar with). But this e-learning isn't really a tutorial either, it's really just a visual overview of the process, not a step-by-step replay you follow with your own files. I'd definitely favor Stephen's tutorial if you're wanting to try it out yourself.
