Segmentation Error or System Crash

Dear Team,

 

I have installed Altair Hyper Works Student Edition Version. Sometimes it gets crashed on an sudden showing 'Segmentation Error'

You can refer the below provided image for the same. Kindly suggest the answer over the same to fix this issue. As it is happening frequently.

    Dear Students / Faculties,

     

     

    Could you please try the below suggestions for 'Segmentation Error / System Crash'

     

    1. Delete Following three Files ( Please Close the HW applications & delete these temp files )

        a. hmmenu.set

        b.hmsettings.tcl, hwsettings.xml, hwsettings.xml.bk  and

        c. Command.cmf

     

    You can find the above file location on  :  Hyper Works > Properties >  Shortcut > Start in 

    ( Please find below provided image to refer 'Start In' directory )

    2. Graphics Driver update 

     

    3. Delete Temp Files 

     

     

    Meanwhile we have attached a PDF reading the same.

     

    Kindly go through the same & let us know even if the problem persist
