Hi,
I have configured simple dc-dc step-up converter using smart control. after every thing is configured i select to export the regulator way to "s-domain Co-efficient". when it is successfully exported we can see two summations and controller transfer function block. my question is why the Vref is added to the second summer at the output of the controller.

Thank you

It helps during startup, but you'll notice if you remove it there is no real impact in performance.

It is the equivalent of giving your controller an initial condition; however, once the converter is operating in steady state you will see that the output of the summer block will end up being as if it was not there to begin with. You will also see that the response of the power supply to load changes is independent of the feed-forward.
