How to set for all elements normal to the direction.

When we are doing topography optimization for the sheetmetal assembly, we are getting the foillowing error message. How to overcome from this issue?

ERROR # 88 FROM SUBROUTINE autotpgcr

Element normals are not all in the same direction

for a set of elements referenced by a BEAD data.

For individual component we can able to set for the elements normal to the direction but how to set elements direction for assembly componets (it consist of various surface) in s single stroke.

In my assembly i have verified the elements direction, one surface is showing up and other surface is showing down direction.

HI,

Your observation on the ELEMENT NORMALS Function in Hypermesh is very correct.

We still do not have the option in which we can select multiple components for adjusting the normals at one instance.

I think it will be ready for future release.
