Is it possible to plot a 3D surface using tabular data? Currently, all I see is a method to use tabular x,y data and a z expression.
HyperGraph 3D by itself only allows expressions for surface plots, to plot from a file with tabular data, you will need a macro (TCL script)

If your data is in matrix format, then you can use Create Curves by File in HyperGraph 3D (see red circles)
