I try to do Example 22 – Ditching using SPH. I got error id:760, although; I sat part at card image.

I would really appreciate it if you help me to solve it.

Hi Sara,

Error id 760 can be of any modelling errors. If you can share the model file we can review and sort the issue.

Hi, 

Error ID 760 pops out for common modelling errors.

For Type 12 interface master surface must be coarser or equal to slave surface and each master segment needs at least on slave node on the opposite surface. No other kinematic condition should be set on any node of the slave surface. For the master and slave create a surface set first and assign the same to the interface.

Hello,

Using TYPE 12 I can only assign contact surfaces for both Master and Slave. It's not possible to assign a set of nodes or elements directely. Can you please explain what you mean by ' For the master and slave create a surface set first and assign the same to the interface ' I am not sure I got your point.

Hi,

For Type 12 interface you can select elements also. 

You can create a surface set (Solver Browser>>Right click and select SURF and select PART.

Try creating the interface with these options.

Hi,

 

I want to do example 22 - ditching using SPH by Radioss. I cannot do the part related to SPH outlet. I created five surface around the sph element, however, when i want to select them for surface segment in outlet sph condition  I cannot select them.how can I create a set?

I attached a screenshot .
