CGAP Elements

Hi all!

I'm going to need CGAP elements to model a contact region. I read through the HELP section about this topic, but I still have some doubts: namely I wonder whether it's possible to use NON LINEAR CGAP within a linear buckling analysis (i.e. is it possible to run the linear analysis and iteratively update the stiffness of the contact?).

As far as i know, the gap stiffness cannot be updated in a linear analysis. I am considering using springs to model the contact surface as i cannot get a convergent solution while running a non-linear analysis.
