I am going through the CClip tutorial and when I get to the optimization part I get a 'Permission Denied' message. Prior to that I had the Error Code 14 that other people seem to have but I overcame that one. Unfortunately for this no .out file is given so I cannot investigate further. I set the case up twice and the same message appeared.

    Davestan,

I might be wrong but i'll take a wild guess here. Since you mentioned that you are working with the CClip tutorial you are probably writing the output files to Altair's installation directory which could result in Permissions denied error.

Make sure to select a different path other then the installation.

    This is very simple problem.

Pls u follow, the following steps to rectify the access denied problem.

    1. U copy that file into ur specified directory.

    2. choose the file --> Right click --> click properties --> remove the read only option

    3. Now u can open the CCLIP file and save it.

    With Regards
