automatically start a procedure in HyperMesh

Dear all,

I'd like to know if it is possible to automatically start execution of a specified macro when Hypermesh starts.

I want to use Hypermesh as a part of an optimization loop, so what I need is to start HM which automatically executes my problem-specific macro and closes...

Any ideas how to implement that ?

Hi Sven,

thanks for the answer - userpage.mac was also my first guess, however I couldn't make it work as I wanted. At the end I just use a customized command file which seems sufficitent for now.

Lukasz,

If you come back to this problem at some point, you may want to try putting commands into a file 'hmexec' in your startup directory. I use this for some custom setup commands, but you should also be able to put other functions in here (load a model, perform operations, etc).
