How to convert thermal conductivity in W/m K to W/m 0C..?
Â
Want to convert 140W/m K to W/m 0C...
needed for the thermal analysis of piston...
Hi,
I'm not a expert in the field of thermal analyzes, but as i know...
The thermal conductivity lambda is a material constant at a defined ambient conditions.
Numerical value in typical tables are valid, unless otherwise specified, for 0 ° C.
I think it make no difference, if i'm using °C or K, since the heat flow depends from delta T (°C or K). You have to be sure, that the lenght are consistent.
See Radioss tutorial RD-1085.

Mario
