Hello,

I have this problem. I have imported a geometry CAD file to Hypermesh and saved the session regularly. Now I see that, if I make any operation inside the Hypermesh program (create a property, delete a component etc), I am not able to save my session/model anymore and this message is printed on the screen:

'Unable to save model file. Please check file permissions'.

I check the permissions of the Hypermesh file and CAD file, but both have no particular restriction. Can you tell me how to solve this problem please?

Thank you

    Hi,

    Please try the below:

Close HyperWorks application(s) and Please delete setting files on your machine. Follow the link below on how to delete setting files:

    http://forum.altairh...iles/?hl=delete

Also, delete .Altair folder in temporary directory. Go to Run and type in %Temp% and click OK.

if this doesn't help try the below:

Please change the working directory or Start In directory  of HM on your machine:

This could be obtained by right clicking HM icon àproperties

    Follow the steps below:

    1.Close all session of HW

    2.Create a new folder

3.Change the start in path in HMàproperties

4.Open HM, carry modelling and try to save now.

The Start In directory is the path highlighted below (see the image below).

Note :Please make sure you have full permission to the new folder .

Let me know if this helps.
