Units in HM

Hello

Does HyperMesh have a standard unit configuration? Or where can I find/change the units?

I'm particularly interested in units dealing with material constants, forces and pressures.

I look forward for your answer.

It all depends on what units your model is using as with other FEA codes. If it's in m, then the standard SI set of m, s, N, Pa etc is used. IF your model is in another set, then you'll need to use a different set of units.

Hypermesh in non-dimensional. It is up to the user to use the right units at each instance. For example, if CONM2 elements are assigned a weight then a PARAM WT-MASS conversion card needs to be present if running a normal modes analysis which relies on mass.
