CAN ANYONE PLS HELP ME IN DEALING WITH ERROR 14

ive been tryin for topology optimization from optistruct..but everytime during check it wud not pass, saying ERROR 14. The error message was

***** FATAL INPUT DATA ERROR *****

ERROR # 16 FROM SUBROUTINE renum

CQUAD4 element 2 references a missing or invalid property.

***** FATAL INPUT DATA ERROR *****

ERROR # 16 FROM SUBROUTINE renum

CQUAD4 element 3 references a missing or invalid property.

.

.

.

.

.

and it goes on;;;; i chekd material property (steel) but ended as clueless.....

Can anyone suggest me to solve this prob,,,

assign a property to your elements and check if it is declared correctly.
